A bizarre and strangely satisfying movie from the twisted mind of Ken Russell.
William Hurt's Professor Jessup is conducting an experiment using hallucinogenic drugs and an isolation chamber. Ultimately, he is trying to doscover what it is to be human. Inevitably things soon start to go wrong.
Some stunning visuals and a great performance by Hurt make this an engrossing, if bizarre movie.
Worth a peek.
