Favourite line:"Respectable young Quaker couple returning from a quiet afternoon of nonviolent sex…."

Fairly standard slasher fare, the rather obvious twist here - given the title of the damn film - being that the events take place over an April Fool's weekend.
A young woman going by the improbable name of Muffy invites her friends to stay in the mansion she is inheriting and, yep, one by one they are dispatched by knife, rope and, bizarrely, boat. The question is - is Muffy responsible, or is there a sinister family secret that only now is coming to light?
Have a guess.
Go on.
By the numbers slasher fodder, then, with the usual mix of hateful jocks and sex addled bimbo's providing rather dubious pleasure as their worthless lives are extinguished.
It's enjoyable, but nothing you haven't seen before, though it is worth watching right until the end for the surprising denouement.
And, no doubt, this will be ripe for a Hollywood remake anytime now, given the current trend of remaking horror classics.
