Favourite line:"....that expression on her face is like pure fear, like something scared her to death."

Possibly Fulci's finest hour, this is simply a fantastic zombie movie.
The direction is immaculate, as the focus of the movie is more on atmosphere and visuals than on coherent storytelling.
The plot makes next to no sense - a priest hangs himself in a graveyard which, somehow - don't ask me how - opens a portal to Hell, which must be closed if all of Hell's inhabitants are not to stalk the Earth.
Cue zombie awakenings and all manner of gory mayhem.
The zombies themselves look fantastic, and they display some unusual characteristics too. They seem to be able to teleport(!), and one even jumps around!
Again, quite why this is is neither explained nor important.
The atmosphere is superb, and the acting just about average for the genre.
Absolutely unmissable.
