Excellent take on the werewolf mythos that manages to be frightening, original and very modern, without seeming in any way contrived.

Ginger and Bridget are sisters with a very close relationship. They are also both outcasts at high school, and so spend much of their time creating short videos depicting images of death. Some of these are superb, with a real sense of black humour. One night, Ginger is bitten by a werewolf in the local park, and gradually begins to change.

The correlation made between menstruation and lycanthropy is intriguing, and Ginger's descent into feral behaviour is disturbing.
Bridget's helplessness and desperation are truly emotive.
A quality horror movie that plays with its' own genres boundaries very successfully.
Great stuff.
