Effective remake of a Japanese horror movie of some repute - one that, unfortunately, I am yet to see.
Don’t worry though, it will be appearing on these pages before too long.
The delectable Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) becomes involved in the mysterious events surrounding a peculiar Japanese curse:
Anyone affected by the curse is overcome by a powerful rage which they cannot control, before eventually succumbing and dying a painful death.
Anyone that enters the building / area that the person died in is then infected, virus like, then they too die in turn, and so the rage spreads.
Creepy, unnerving, with some genuine jumpy moments, this is a decent Hollywood offering that I enjoyed quite a lot - although, it's true, Gellar's presence gives this a bonus skull!
Surprisingly spooky.
