Favourite line:"Jason-fucking-Voorhees, that's what's going on!"

These are the voyages of the Starship….Voorhees.
Yep, Friday the 13th Part 10 sees Jason in space, in the future.
Seriously, folks, you may think I am making this up, but it's all true.
Every damn word.
See, Jason's body has been cryogenically frozen and, far into the future, it is discovered and thawed out.
Big mistake.
Jason awakens, reclaiming his machete and, after being vamped up into some sort of half mutant, half cyborg, once more sets about his slicing and dicing antics for our enjoyment.
Now, here's the thing: anyone who complains about this movie is genuinely moronic. This is the 10th movie in the series. If you don't like them, don't watch them. Watching it and then complaining is like ordering a pizza then griping that you don't like cheese.
Oh, and there's plenty of that here, too.
The sci-fi twist is neat, and serves well as an excuse to reanimate Our Hero, and Jason's Borged up new look is pretty damn cool.
The last twenty minutes descends into your usual running, screaming, chopping scenario, but it's to be expected.
David Cronenberg puts in a cameo near the start, too, to lend the movie an air of respectability.
An average slasher, then, but with at least a dash of originality.
