Vicious and misogynistic serial killer offering from Fulci.
This is grime cinema of the sleaziest variety.
The premise is the most basic of all: A serial killer is slaughtering young women in an intensely violent fashion, and its up to the NYPD to stop him before he strikes again.
The films notoriety stems from the graphic depiction of violence towards women, and it is difficult to watch at times.
Unflinching and disturbing - in particular the duck voice the murderer uses, and his emoting as he carries out his barbaric acts - this is one for the strong of stomach only.
Be prepared to squirm.
