A Dino de Laurentis (producer) rip off special - this time he has his sights set on Jaws - but this is an effective and enjoyable film nevertheless.
Of course, the whole premise is utterly implausible - A killer whale is enraged by the death of his family so seeks retribution on the sailor who killed them.
That aside, this is good viewing, Richard Harris is as watchable as ever, and some of the whale scenes are great, and look a lot better than the shark equivalent in Jaws.
I enjoyed it.
