Andre Toulon, the finest puppet master ever to have lived, and a homicidal maniac to boot, is back.
This time around, he uses his army of tiny minions to unleash a reign of terror upon a group of paranormal researchers, eager to get their grubby ones on their essential brain juice in order to keep the great puppet master alive.
Andre himself becomes obsessed with a fine looking filly by the name of Carolyn who bears a striking resemblance to his long dead wife.
Sounds alright, right?
Wrong.
Crushingly flawed by virtue of the fact that the idea of animated puppets is simply not scary, this struggles both in terms of script and ideas.
The execution of the set-pieces, such as they are, is poor and the low budget, in this case, causes real problems as some of the 'overlay' work is just painful to watch.
Thematically similar to writer Charles Band's directorial effort, Blood Dolls, this really has all of the problems that movie suffers from as well.
Average, and that's being generous.
