Big budget Hollywood video game tie-in that is not actually as bad as that implies.
The zombies look ok, and the set pieces are ok, but no more.
It's all a bit bland and soulless though, which is to be expected considering the source. Milla Jovovich is the strong female in the lead role, and she is fine.
Not as hateful as I imagined it would be, but don't expect a gorefest either.
