It's part 6, so who cares, really?
The plot:
With Jigsaw long gone, corrupt copper Mark Hoffman continues the slicing and dicing fun, as does Jigsaw's ex-wife Jill, intent on carrying out her late husband's final instruction. Oh, there's some twaddle about an insurance broker having to prove his worth through a series of tests in the usual booby trapped house set-up, but I've just about lost patience to the point I could barely pay any attention to the plot.
The gory moments are nasty and dripping with viscera, which is a good thing, but this is emotionless, soulless nonsense by now, the flair and originality of the first movie as moribund as the serial killer at the heart of the story.
Luckily, part 7 appears to be the last of them.
Let's bloody hope so.
