What would happen of a lightning strike brought down some power cables in a patch of land where worms lurk beneath the surface.
Not much, you might say.
But, you'd be WRONG!!!
Apparently, such exposure to electricity actually turns worms into CARNIVOROUS KILLER WORMS.
This is scientific fact, incidentally, and is based on a true story from 1964.
Well, before you know it, the CARNIVOROUS KILLER WORMS have made their way to the nearest town to the field in which they were spawned, and set about eating anyone unfortunate enough to venture into their path.
Silly, tongue-in-cheek horror, this is genuine low budget 'B' movie fare, but it is certainly enjoyable.
It drags it's heels a little, to be fair, which is why it doesn't score more highly, but if a bit of nonsensical hokey horror is what you are looking for, this could be right up your anneloid pipe.
Daft but entertaining fare.
