An intelligent slice of Hollywood sci-fi here, which is often a contradiction in terms.
Ethan Hawke plays Vincent Freeman, a man predisposed, by genetic tests done at birth, to be a low grade worker.
When he assumes the identity of a genetically superior individual, the very fabric of the separatist dystopian world of the near future is threatened.
He must be stopped before he gives other people ideas above their station.
Frightening and absorbing, this is a cautionary tale that is very relevant to the current developments in genetic enhancement / investigation.
A quality movie.
