Big budget treatment of the man monster we all know and love.
Ang Lee attempts to inject an element of pathos to proceedings, and is partially successful, but the dynamic between the mian characters is never entirely convincing.
The CGI effects are amazing in places, though it is far too reliant on this for the last 20 minutes or so.
The story is simple, so I won't even bother relaying it. Suffice to say the main emphasis is primarily focused on Bruce Banner's inner turmoil regarding his body's involuntary transformations. The first couple of transformation sequences are superb, though you can't help but chuckle in places.
Overall, a reasonably entertaining, if flawed attempt to bring the green gargantuan to the big screen.
A new one is in production too, though it seems none of the cast from this one are participating, which seems a little odd to me.
Just OK overall.
