Not the best from Coen's, though it's far from terrible.
It is desperately crippled from the beginning by a dreadfully slow start, which isn't really like the siblings usually.
Another problem here, though, is with the plotting as, once the 'bad thing' happens you can see the plot twist coming; again, unlike the Coen Brothers usual output.
The performances are good though, especially from John Goodman, as always, and there's a nice atmosphere to it.
There are just lots of better Coen brothers movies out there, however.
