Almost an unofficial sequel to Goodfella's, even though none of the characters or situations are recurring.
Similar themes are touched upon, as is inevitable with a movie dealing with The Mafia, but this time we get to see things from the bosses perspective.
Just as violent, just as unflinching, though perhaps not as taut as Goodfella's (a movie with not an ounce of fat on it's bones), this is nevertheless a tour de force of film-making.
An excellent cast - even Sharon Stone is good in this - compliment it too.
Fans of anything Mafia related will certainly enjoy this one.
