Favourite line:"Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this picture?"

Searing, at times savage attack on the materialistic modern America - and in truth we could read the entire Western world if we wish.
Michael Douglas is (I actually can't believe I'm saying this) amazing in the lead role, a man never given a name, thus implying that this could happen to anyone. i.e., this could be YOU.

He's lost his job, he's lost his wife, he's lost his daughter effectively and suddenly, the petty grievances and minor annoyances that most of us hate but cope with, all become too much.

Stylish, moody, blackly comic, with some great incidental music, this is a compelling, intelligent thriller.
Watch it.
