Favourite line:"An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind."

Stunningly beautiful and powerfully evocative biopic of The Great Man.
An advocate of peace, he took on the British Empire almost single-handedly, and won, only being defeated ultimately by the short sightedness of his own people who were unable to understand that the best way to achieve freedom and success is by working together in peace and harmony.
Ben Kingsley is the epitome of assured spirituality in the lead role, and Richard Attenborough's direction dazzles.
A must watch movie for thinkers everywhere, but be prepared to feel frustrated afterwards, as his message has still not been learnt.
