Year:1974
Country of origin:UK
Director:Guy Hamilton
Genre:Bond
Starring:Roger Moore, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Maud Adams
Rating:4/5
IMDB link:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071807/
Tagline:He never misses his target, and now his target is 007.
Favourite line:"A duel between titans... my golden gun against your Walther PPK."

You know this one, you know you do.
Scaramanga (Christopher Lee in imperious form), Nick Nack, "He's got a powerful weapon", Bali, and Britt Ekland looking divine.
One of the last of the Bond movies to successfully capture the idea of exoticism, in particular the end of the movie which is shot on location in Bali, if memory serves correctly.
The stunts are audacious, particularly the infamous river jump, which was done for real and ruined by the editor who sequenced it as if it was a camera trick. It wasn't. I bet the stuntman was really pissed off about that.
A fine addition to the Bond hall of fame, and well worthy of multiple viewings.
