Massively intense, sensory overload of a movie.
The main premise is that the media makes stars out of murderers, thus encouraging people to kill.
To this effect, Oliver Stone uses a myriad of cinematic techniques to drive home the fact that there are many tricks the media can use to get their message across. From the faux sitcom grimness of the daughter being battered, to the lions indulging in intercourse on the plains of Africa, this is a veritable bombardment to the brain, and is, at the same time, a highly entertaining movie.
Watch it.
