Surprisingly good addition to the Police Story franchise.
Jackie is a burnt out cop, haunted by his failure in a mssion one year before the movie starts.
A gang of super rich anarchists are out to kill as many cops as they can, and to do it in the form of a game, scoring points for the method of death and the pain their victim endures.
A brutal first half an hour is followed up by an intriguing search for the culprits, and the set piece culminating in 4 people descending down the outside of a skyscraper using different methods - including a bike and a pair of roller skates! - has to be seen to be believed.
And not a hint of comedy in sight.
A real return to form from Jackie.
