Tagline:Crime, passion and lust for power - Sergio Leone's explosive saga of gangland America.
Favourite line:"You can always tell the winners at the starting gate. You can always tell the winners and you can tell the losers."

Sergio Leone's epic gangster tale that clocks in at an arse numbing four hours, give or take ten minutes or so.
Robert de Niro is in imperious form as a smalltime Jewish gangster, as we follow him from the early 1900's right through to a reunion with his partners in crime some 60 years later.
Taking in Prohibition, the Second World war and beyond, this is staggering in scope.
It is told in a non-linear fashion, and makes extensive use of flashbacks and flash forwards to construct a complex tale of friendship, criminality and betrayal.
A stunning cast, superb direction and a beautiful film score by none other than Ennio Morricone, this is essential viewing, but prepare yourself for a marathon session.
