Jackie Chan in full on chop socky comedy mode, in a well plotted, though occassionally flagging tale of corruption, and a good man righting the wrongs in the world.
Chan plays a Hong Kong cop involved in a trial, and when the trial collapses, he finds that he and the main witness become targets for retribution.
The set pieces that open and close this movie are just mind-blowing - made even more impressive by the fact that, famously, Jackie performs all his own stunts - and when it kicks into gear, this is hard to top for action and great fight scenes.
It does plod a little in the middle as the comedy element kicks in, mainly focusing around Jackie's desperate attempts to mollify his girlfriend.
Directed by the man himself, this is a perfect introduction for anyone yet to see a real Jackie Chan movie.
