Favourite line:"I worry about how democracy survives when one man can move cities with his mind."

The Last Stand is, as the title suggests, the completion of the film series, and a mighty fine trilogy it's been as well.
The story this time centres around a potential 'cure' for mutants, nullifying the X Gene that causes the physical and mental anomalies. Whilst some mutants are very much in favour of the proposition, others are wildly against it, fearing that the 'powers that be' will force anyone carrying the gene variant to take the drug.
Battle lines are drawn, with Professor Xavier's X-Men forced to face off against Magneto's brood. But, what Xavier and Co. don't realise is that an old friend has returned, and her dark powers are set to be used against them by the malevolent Magneto, and not all on the side of good will survive this time around.

It's a good storyline, and again the performances are uniformly excellent.
The special effects are just staggering at times - see the Golden Gate Bridge scene if you don't believe me - and the only real let down is that the main new X-Man, Juggernaut, just isn't very good. He looks rubbish, and seems to have been introduced as a plot point convenience.
One massive plus point is the inclusion of Ellen 'Hard Candy, Juno' Page, who is just yummy.
Enjoyed it a lot.
