Favourite line:"Swallow your horror and let it nourish you. Come with me and sing the song of misery. Share my world!"

You know the way it is with horror sequels - they are rarely as good as the original, and this is no exception though it is much better than most.
Whilst lacking the legitimate terror factor of the first movie, this still delivers, and expands on the eponymous character with a fleshing out of the back story.
Tony Todd is superb again as the titular character, and his is a sympathetic monster, punished awfully for the crime of falling in love with the wrong woman, twisting his mind and soul so that his only reaction now is one of murderous rage.
The story is intriguing, and it is all very stylishly handled.
A very good sequel to possibly the best horror movie of the 90's.
