Favourite line:"But there's a catch. It has to live the rest of its life as some half-assed fish in the sea!"

Creepy and sinister offering from Stuart Gordon, a man clearly obsessed with all things Lovecraft (Reanimator, From Beyond).
No Jeffrey Coombs this time, which is a shame, but this is still an effective little horror movie.
A couple are forced to land at an isolated Spanish village after having a mysterious boating accident.
When they get there, all is not as it seems.
People are distant and unhelpful and almost distracted. Then night comes, and the regular people are nowhere to be seen. Instead, THINGS emerge and wander the streets.
It's all very spooky and unsettling, and the location is superb - just the kind of place you really wouldn't want to get trapped.
A decent enough effort.
