Favourite line:"Go away, Jason, before they get you. Go away, before they eat you."

Interesting take on the zombie genre.
It starts off with the usual ingredients - the living dead are walking the earth, a plague that is becoming more numerous with each passing day.
The effects are very good, and the zombies are wonderfully effective.
This takes an interesting twist, though, when the main protanganists encounter a zombie worshipping cult, who believe that it is God's will that mankinds tenure ends, and the zombies overtake the land.
Original and intense, this is a cut above many zombie flicks.
The character names are entertaining for horror buffs too, many having the same surnames as highly recognised individuals in the horror field (Savini, Carpenter, Raimi).
A very good movie.
