Favourite line:"Pop goes the fucking weasel."

Producer Charles Band's obsession with possessed dolls continues here, with a fresh twist on the plot of Child's Play.
The plot:

When a bust on a pair of illegal arms traffickers goes awry, one cop is shot whilst the other, Scoggins' Judith Gray follows them into a warehouse that, unluckily for all of them, is home to a restless demon, who has been waiting 66 years for the right moment to rise again and possess some toys to serve as his kill-slaves.
It's not long before Gray, a fried chicken delivery guy and one of the gun runners are trapped, besieged by the titular demoniacs.

Though the concept maybe as ridiculous as bacon flavour ice cream, there is real atmosphere here, and the script is way above average for this type of fodder.
It has to be noted, as well - and I am not proud of this - that Scoggins provides some real MILF titillation, which helps in the few moments it does start to lag.
On top of everything else, there's a nice in-joke as a security guard is seen watching Puppet Master on TV, and the gore quotient is higher than most in this genre.
Though none converts to toy based horror will certainly not be convinced, those into the aforementioned Child's Play, Puppet Master et al will certainly enjoy this one as well.
