Favourite line:"I'll hurt you if you stay."

Cronenberg's visceral remake of the 50's classic.

Jeff Goldblum plays Seth Brundle, a scientist obsessed with discovering the secret of teleportation, and he's almost cracked it.
Geena Davis is the investigative journalist he assigns to chart his progress, and break the story to the world once he finally finds the solution.
One day, Brundle decides to go through the telepod, but doesn't notice that he is not alone in the booth.
A tiny fly is a fellow passenger.

Gory, intelligent, and at its heart a haunting love story, this is powerful and gripping horror.
Cronenberg's themes of scientific mayhem and human mutation are present as ever, and this is arguably his finest movie.
