Very entertaining exploitation movie of some repute.
A strip joint is being targetted by a serial killer, with go-go girls being picked off one by one and mutilated horrifically, their faces being the main focus of the attacks. A private eye investigates the case and, through cunning detective work, solves the mystery.
Essentially a 'whodunnit' with a sleazy twist, this movies notoriety comes from the extremely graphic gore scenes. Each murder is shown in grisly detail and, whilst the effects aren't particularly convincing, they are somehow disgusting.
Genuine, stomach churning fare.
I loved it.
The plot is drivel, the acting atrocious, just as we would hope, but this film loses a skull rating because of the prolonged dancing scenes, which are tedious in the extreme.
A fine example of the exploitation genre, with a healthy line in the surreal, this is one worth checking out.
