One of Fulci's finest moments, this is surreal, disturbing and downright disgusting in places.

A mother and her son move into a new house, and the boy befriends a little girl from across the road, but is she real or a ghostly apparition?.

The performance of the boy is one of the weirdest you will ever see, and the little bastard looks pretty odd too.
So, they move in but, unbeknownst to them, the house is cursed.
Bleeding walls, flying vampiric bats and, worst of all, wouldn't you know it, a zombified mad scientist in the basement, who needs human tissue to stay alive! The plot makes no sense at all, but that matters not one jot.
The atmosphere is superb, as is the score, and this is quite simply one of the finest horror movies ever made.
Brilliant.
