Favourite line:"Oh, no, not The Carpenters..."

One of Carpenters more recent horror offerings, it is only partially successful.

An author, Sutter Cane, vanishes, but it seems that the power of his prose is having an unsettling effect on his readers.
An investigator is sent in - Sam Neill, always a treat to watch - who visits a town called Hobb's End but, unbeknownst to him, this town only exists in Cane's warped mind....

An interesting, surreal journey which has some great imagery and good acting, but ultimately it feels a little confused.
Still worth a glance for Carpenter fans.
