This starts very well, but gets very boring, very quickly.
The special FX are great, as we see the title character becoming more and more mutated as the film progresses, but good FX do not a good movie make.
The premise is thus - an astronaut returns from an ill-fated mission to investigate the rings of Saturn and, for reasons that are never truly explained, begins to melt(!) and, even more bizarrely, to eat human flesh(!!)
There's also a hilarious scene with a fat nurse running through a glass door but, that aside, with this presmise the movie should been much better than it actually is.
Shame.
