This is a really interesting idea.
Zombies are trying to be normal people, and aren't depicted as mindless shells of humanity and, really, this should have been better but unfortunately it does get a little bit boring towards the end.
The main problem with the movie, besides it's low budget which I am always ready to forgive, is that the lead woman is very unlikeable. She is cold, unfeeling and wooden, yielding no compassion from the viewer and I really get the feeling that you are meant to care about her predicament, but I found it impossible to do.
Besides that, the most notable point worth mentioning is the massively graphic sex - the strap on pistol with visible penetration and masturbation sequence is very explicit and I am surprised they got away with that one.
Overall, a nice idea that really could have been developed more successfully.
