Favourite line:"You want to hunt Graboids, you better know geology."

The Graboids are back, hungrier than ever, this time causing panic in a small town in Mexico.
The owner of the local refinery in the town heads north to track down Earl Bassett (Ward) and procure his services.
Reluctant at first, his new partner Grady Hoover (Gartin) convinces him that they can make big bucks, with the refinery owner willing to stump up fifty big ones for each Graboid killed, and one hundred K if they manage to capture one alive.
From then on in, it's hunting time as the boys attempt to lure the giant critters out from under the Earth so they can blow them to Kingdom come.

Whilst there's a little more to it than that- the monsters tranform into walking beasties after a chrysalis stage that hunt through locating body heat - this is essentially a slightly cheaper, slightly less polished continuation of the original.
Whilst the chemistry between Ward and Gartin is good, it's not on a par with the relationship Ward and Bacon shared in the first film and it does tend to get a little repetitive after a while.
Still, if an entertaining, none mentally taxing monster movie is what you are after, you could certainly do worse.
