Not as favoured by the masses and slammed by the critics upon release, this is possibly my favourite of the 4.
Ripley's escape vessel crashlands on a planet that is used as a penal colony, and her co-survivors from the previous movie are killed on impact.
Unfortunately, unbeknownst to everyone, she was not the only living creature on board.
Yep, an alien egg survived and the chest burster implants its embryo into one of the convicts dogs. The creature brusts free, and all hell breaks loose.
Tense, atmospheric, with great dialogue and top notch performances, this is a qualty movie.
