Favourite line:"I am Catwoman. Hear me roar."

Seldom is a sequel better than the original, but this is one of those rare occasions when I believe it to be a case in point.
A great gothic atmosphere, superb cartoon violence, and Christopher Walken in fine form elevate this above the high camp of the original.
Additionally, two good villains in the form of The Penguin and Catwoman add to the entertainment.
This is all round good gothic edged entertainment, and significantly darker than the first, which is a plus point.
It's downhill from here I'm afraid, until Chris Nolan's triumphant return to form with Batman Begins.
