Favourite line:"I'm very little! You cheat very big!"

I never realised archaelogists were such wildmen.
The darkest of the Indy trilogy, with goblets of blood, crazed religious types, plenty of creepy crawlies and a banquet fit for only the sturdiest of stomachs, this sees our hero attempting to recover the sacred Sankara stones and overcome the despotic Thuggee, a manic bunch of religious zealots who practice ancient and dark arts.
Once the annoying fifteen minutes in the dance hall is out of the way, this is a tour de force of action comedy.
Harrison Ford is clearly enjoying himself as the eponymous Jones, and his rapport with Jonathan Ke Quan's Short Round is highly entertaining.
The only possible downside is the lead woman, Kate Capshaw's 'Willie', who shrieks and complains throughout and generally just irritates. I believe she was actually married to Spielberg, which would explain, though not excuse, her presence.
That aside, great fun.
