Another sumptuous anime from Hayao Miyazaki, a man responsible for more stunning anime's than you can shake an ink pot at.

The plot is beautifully simple:
A young girl, who also happens to be a witch, moves into a new village to begin her year of regular life before she can become a witch proper.
Apparently all witches have to go through this procedure!
And that's it.

The movie simply follows her adventures as she struggles to come to terms with a normal life, ultimately setting up an air courier service which she operates by flying to the addresses on her broom.
Beautiful, enchanting and, as ever, with more imagination than ten Disney animated flicks combined, this is just a joy.
Loved it.
