Country of origin:USA
Director:Steven Spielberg
Genre: Paranoid sci-fi action

Rating:4/5

Tagline:What would you do if you were accused of a murder, you had not committed... yet?
Favourite line:"You set your patients on fire."

Tom Cruise is an officer with the Washington DC Pre-Crime Department, who use three 'precogs' to arrest potential murderers before they actually commit the murder they are destined to commit.
You follow?!?
His son was killed several years ago by a kidnapper, and since then he has split up with his wife. His whole life is focused on his work until, one day, the precogs predict that he will commit a murder of a man he has never previously met.

Superb special effects, a neat plot, and some wicked twists keep you hooked on this one until the end and, thankfully, we are spared the usual mawkish end that Spielberg is sometimes guilty of.
Intriguing and intelligent, this is a good sci-fi movie which raises several mortal questions along the way.
