A very adult anime full length here, dealing with the trappings of fame, obsessed fans, nudity and rape, this is challenging and interersting stuff.
Mima is a superstar in her native Japan, one of the members of a fictional (I think!) group called 'Cham'.
She decides to leave the band to attempt to break into the world of acting, only to find that she has to lower herself to posing nude for pornographic magazines and, worse still, even has to pose in simulated rape situations.
All very nasty so far.
Throw in an obsessed fan stalking her, scaring her beyond her wits, and you can see that this is hardly Disney standard material.
Well animated, with surprisingly good voiceover actors used (which is always a relief as many dubbed films are crucified by the piss poor voice actors employed) this might be one for anyone who has yet to see an anime as it may just shatter your illusions of what they are all about.
