Rob Brydon, a comedy character actor I am really starting to warm to, plays himself in this witty, at times savage attack on the mysterious world of TV Panel shows.
His unrelenting misery at the indignity of being compelled to present one is a constant joy, as are his disparaging remarks behind the backs of his guests, which of course are very far removed from his sycophantic witterings when in their presence.
Very modern,, very sarcastic, and an absolute delight that shouldn't be hidden away on BBC3 for too much longer.
