Eh, that Jason Stayfam's a hunk of beef ain't 'e, an' no mistake.
Would you Adam and Eve it, 'e's only gorn an' appeared in anuvver fakkin acshuna'. I kid ya not, as sure as eyes is eyes.
Ok, enough of that.

Yep, The Stath is back, fresh from Transporter duties here he is in the guise of another criminal sort, this time a hitman, and not a very pleasant fellow at all. Due to the nature of his work he has made a few enemies and one of them decides to hit back by injecting him with a new form of poison - never specified, just referenced as 'The Chinese shit' - that makes your metabolism slow to the point that you keel over and die.
The antidote?
Keep fucking moving.
Adrenaline's the key, me boy, adrenaline. And anything you can do to promote its release into the body is allowed: fight, run, crash cars, have sex in the middle of the street, take narcotics. It's perfectly fine, just keep yer system cranked, Stath, cos if you stop for too long, yer a gonner, you 'ear?

Coming across as a cross between Run Lola Run and Speed, this is high octane nonsense that is implausibly entertaining. it should be dreadful, it really should, but the natural charisma of STATHAM, even whilst playing such an arsehole of a character, keeps things alive, as well as a pulsing soundtrack and a style of editing that could be really annoying - all cutty jumps and staccato, fit inducing renderings - keep you hooked.
One of the plain nastiest movies I've seen in a while in terms of spirit, truly not one person involved in the on screen action is remotely likeable, this is never the less shockingly engaging.
Really bloody enjoyed it.
Vaguely bloody ashamed that I did.
