Favourite line:"Wakey Wakey, Burke. Time to bleed!"

The Belgian bruiser, King of Camp, plays an undercover cop here, sent into prison to try to determine the reasons behind a spate of brutal murders involving the back of the victims neck being punctured.
He plays Louis Burke, purportedly inside for armed robbery, a respected crime in the stir, and gradually, over time, he uncovers a web of corruption and deceit that goes right to the heart of the prisons' authorities. The crooks that have been killed are being harvested, their organs being used in involuntary donation, and the message is clear - why waste good organs on criminals?

One of Van Damme's less camp performances (there are only three or four scenes of him tearing his vest off), with a cracking villain in the shape of The Sandman, and an intriguing set-up, I enjoyed this more than I expected.
Most action thriller fans should enjoy this, though Van Damme devotees may be disappointed.
