About as good as actions movies get.
Bruce is awesome as John McClane, the lone cop, trapped in a building that is under siege by a group of terrorists intent on stealing the bankers bonds locked in the basement vault.
What elevates this above the norm is a huge contribution from Alan Rickman as a great villain. His cold, ruthless, Germanic criminal is charming and intelligent, yet made of stone.
Add in some and wonderful set pieces and you have all the ingredients for possibly the best action movie ever made.
Top notch.
