Favourite line:"Are... are you my conscience?"

Loathe as I am to admit it, I bloody love this movie.
Pixar's tour de force aquatic animation just hits everything spot on, ticking every box for a fun-filled family movie and, as shameful as it is to admit, it's just impossible not to be swept away by the sheer bloody joy of it all.

The plot couldn't be simpler: a young clownfish by the name of Nemo is caught by a fisherman, and taken away from his underwater world to be a gift for a young girl. His traumatised father must swim the oceans and make his way to Sydney and, somehow, free his son. There's nothing more to it, but it's the riot of imagination that goes into the journey that makes this such a delight.

Humourous, touching without making you want to vomit, this is feel good movie-making of the highest quality. It's scary too, what with killer shark chase sequences, jellyfish attacks and a simply breath-taking sequence involving an angler fish.
If you haven't seen this already as you normally only watch horror, release your inner child and get hold of this asap. Guaranteed, you'll have a huge gormless grin on your face by the end of it. If not, get to the psychotherapists quickly, you're a fucking sociopath.
