Indisputably the best of the Star Wars movies, with its sombre tone throughout, the sense of impending doom, the creepy scenes on Yoda's swamp planet, the AT-AT's and, of course the showdown between Luke and Darth at the end.
Some complain that it doesn't seem to go anywhere, suffering from that mid-act lull. I couldn't disagree more.
Watch the original if you can get hold of it, not the tweaked digital bullshit version.
Why meddle with perfection Mr. Lucas?
