Favourite line:"My name is John Connor, they tried to murder me before I was born, when I was 13 they tried again."

Whilst lacking the class of the first two, this is still a first rate sci-fi actioner and, it has to be said, simply appears to be paving the way for an epic part 4.

John Connor is now ten years older than when last we saw him in part 2 (though he looks considerably more than that!), and he is utterly fed up with the burden of being mankind's future saviour. His luck's running out though, as the Skynet of the future sends back the TX, an ultra sophisticated Terminator revamp which is even more powerful than the T-1000. This one can morph and create it's own weapons, is even stronger, and can also control machinery.

The usual hotch-potch mix of silly one liners, cod-time travel philosophising and ball blazing action complete a reasonably satisfying third act.
And the car chase sequence near the start of the movie is surely one of the best ever filmed.
Well worth a watch.
