Lightweight, vaguely bad taste rom-com from the Farrelly brothers, doing what they do best.
Ben Stiller is a man still besotted by a high school sweetheart (Cameron Diaz) who sends a private investigator to track her down and see what she is currently doing in life. Problem is, the P.I. falls madly in love with her too. Cue lots of male bravado, one upmanship and so forth.
Some genuine laugh out loud moments - though the most famous 'sperm scene' isn't all it's made out to be - but few surprises if you are familiar with the Farrelly Brothers other movies (Dumb and Dumber, Me Myself and Irene et al).
Entertaining fluff.
