When a prostitute is maimed in the town of Little Whisky, a price is put on the head of those responsible.
Clint Eastwood plays William Munny, a reformed gunslinger bored with his regular life, and unburdened now by a wife who kept him in check. As a result, the bounty is enough to bring him out of retirement for one last job.
Entertaining, violent and dark updating of the Western genre, with the chief twist being the age of the protaganists.
Stylish and intense, with an intelligent inversion of a tired genre, this is one even non-Western fans could get their teeth into.
